House rules
A small late-night spot for the community to hang out and talk. Nothing you say is saved, and the whole room gets wiped at midnight. Be cool and keep it clean.
Getting in
- You need today's door code. It changes every night at midnight New York time, and you need the new one even if you're still signed in. Ask whoever invited you.
- Sign in with your email address (or your phone number if you prefer) and we'll send you a one-time code. Your email or number is encrypted and never shown in the room, not even to the mods.
- We only text numbers from the countries this room allows. If yours isn't one, use your email.
- You stay signed in on that device for up to 30 days. Signing out ends it right away.
- Only 25 people get in each day. Once it's full, it's full till tomorrow.
- The room is only open when the owner, a mod or RoomBot is around.
- 21+ only.
Who's here, and what you see
- You only see what's said after you walk in. Anything earlier stays hidden. A mod can pin one message for everyone.
- Right now a mod has turned on earlier messages, so you can read what was said earlier today.
- Everyone sees how many people are here. Tap the count to see who, and when they came in. Names only.
What's cool
- Text only. No links, no pics, no DMs.
- Talk experiences, questions, support, everyday life.
- @mention people in the room and reply to messages.
- Nothing here is medical advice. Talk to your doctor about your health.
What gets you kicked out
- No selling, buying, trading or sourcing. No "where can I get", no "DM me", no handles for other apps.
- No prices, promo codes, discount codes or referral codes.
- No talk about getting other drugs.
- No harassment, hate, threats or doxxing. Don't share anyone's personal info.
- No offensive names, and no names that sell, advertise or give out contact info. Mods can reset a name.
- No spam and no dodging the filters. Posting the same thing over and over is spam.
- What's said here stays here. Your name is faintly stamped on your screen, so a screenshot shows who took it. Leaking the room is a permanent ban.
How the mods work
- If a message looks like selling, sourcing, codes, prices or other drugs, it won't go through, and you'll see why. Change it up, or send it anyway: a mod checks it first, and it counts as a warning.
- Slow mode is always on: one message every few seconds.
- Every message has a report button. Enough reports hide it until a mod takes a look.
- If the auto-check is on, it reads held or reported messages to help decide. It never sees names, and emails and phone numbers are blanked out first.
- Mods can mute you (a short time-out), kick you (out for the day) or ban you (for good). Bans stick to the email or number you signed in with, so a new door code won't get you back in.
- A short line with your name shows up when you come in. Same when someone gets removed, banned or made a mod. Who did it and why never shows.
- The owner's name has its own look, and mods have a badge.
When no mod is around
- RoomBot keeps watch so the room can stay open. It steps back as soon as the owner or a mod is back.
- While RoomBot is on watch, slow mode is slower and messages get hidden after fewer reports.
- Keep breaking the rules (links, held messages, repeating yourself, getting reported) and you get an automatic 15-minute time-out. Keep going and you're out till midnight.
- RoomBot never bans anyone. Only a person can.
Nothing's saved
- Nothing you say is saved. Messages only live in the server's memory and get wiped at midnight New York time, or sooner if the server restarts.
- You get a heads-up 12 hours before the nuke, then at 6 hours, 3 hours, 1 hour, 30 minutes, 5 minutes and 1 minute.
- After midnight you're still signed in, but you'll need the new door code to come back.
- Mods can see today's messages, held and removed ones too, so they can handle reports. That's wiped at midnight like everything else.
